Billing Analysis
-
Voice
- Most companies do not realize that they are probably paying more for their
telecommunication needs, than they have to. There can be many reasons for this.
Many companies sign up for service under a long term contract, and don’t shop
around for cheaper rates when the contract is up. Different phone service
providers do have different rates, depending on how many lines a business has;
looking to other providers can save a substantial amount of money over time.
Long distance rates are another piece that if a business shops around, can save
substantial amounts of money over time. Another way to save money can be to
look at larger phone lines. This might mean getting phone service at T1 level,
instead of individual 1FB lines. If you don’t understand those terms, think of
it as buying in bulk. One of the other ways companies are saving money on voice
communications is by utilizing voice over IP. This solution is becoming much
more practical, as the quality continues to improve.

Data
– Data communications have come down substantially in price over the past few
years. If you use fractional T1 access to the internet or larger, and have been
in contract for awhile you may be paying more then you need to be. Let us
evaluate your current expenses, to determine if your company can save money.

Needs Consulting

Voice
- Many companies when they start out save expenses by buying the cheapest phone
equipment they can. In time, as that company grows, that phone equipment
doesn’t provide all the functionality that is needed. Maybe it is individual
voice mail boxes for each employee, or direct phone numbers to individuals. A
business that is to the point that they are ready to upgrade to a new system,
could contact a local company that sells PBX equipment (public branch exchange,
or in simpler terms a network of multiple phones and phone lines), but they
might try and sell features that aren’t needed, or they may only sell one brand
of equipment when another brand of equipment is of equal quality but sold by a
competitor. We do not sell equipment. We only determine our client’s needs and
find multiple solutions to present to our clients.

Data
– Is your business looking at installing internet access? If so, there are
several things to consider. How many people will be accessing the internet?
Will the traffic be inbound or outbound? Will you have servers that people will
access from the internet? The big question is how much bandwidth does your
company need? We say there is no such thing as too much bandwidth, but excess
bandwidth does cost more money, so generally it is best to have the appropriate
bandwidth that your business will utilize. Let us evaluate your company’s
needs. Beyond the consultation, we can assist you in getting hooked up to the
internet. For information on what we can do for your business, please see the
